WELCOME!!!

Hello and welcome!
My name is Estrella Medina. I am from Hidalgo County (Donna), but currently reside in Cameron County (Harlingen). I enjoy traveling & spending time with family and friends. I will be your child's MATH teacher this school year and I am looking forward to getting to know every one of you. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a secondary concentration from UTPA (now UTRGV) in 2012 and I recently completed (May 2021) a Master of Art in Counseling from OLLU.

This is my 10th year teaching secondary math, my 7th year with HCISD, and my 2nd year with HCH. I have taught AVID, IB Math Studies, Algebra 1, 8^th Grade Math, Math Modules and Applications, Calculus AB, and this year I will be teaching Geometry.

This year I am co-sponsoring the junior class and yearbook with Mrs. Hart.
